Welcome to Spring Break. OUR GIFT SHOP WILL BE CLOSED APRIL 26 & 27th.Our 2013 sugaring season has come to an end, we have made lots of fresh maple syrup in all grades. Our season was a little late getting started because of colder than normal temperatures. The colder temperatures let us gather sap a little longer and created some very tasty maple syrup this year. Look for our products on your store shelves and if you don't see it, please tell them to give us a call.
We are located in a small town in Northern Maine. Our first year we made 17 gallons of pure maple syrup. Today we use 1000 gallons just for making maple candies and maple cream. We have been committed to maintaining sustainable growth on the principals of renewable resource management and local farming. Our mission is to grow an agricultural business into a sustainable business for generations.
Our products are organic by nature. Our maple syrup contains NO preservatives or additives. Our honey is gathered from wildflowers on our farm and nearby fields. Our maple candies, sugar and maple cream is made from our maple syrup with nothing added during the processing.
We are excited to announce plans to open a new maple candy processing facility in 2013. Although we are the largest maple candy company in Maine our candies are made in small batches on our kitchen stove. Due to the increased demands we are in need of a facility that will allow us to process maple candy more efficiently and make better use of our employees.
We look forward to providing outstanding customer service and creating a long lasting relationship with you, your friends and family. We sell our products here on our website and we also have a retail gift shop located in a portion of our sugar shack which is open a Friday 10 am to 4 pm and Saturday 9 am to 1 pm during the months of April & May. Summer hours start in June. We invite you to stop in to our unique one of a kind gift shop if you are ever in the area. We specialize in Maine maple products, Maine honey and Maine food products. Our personal preference is buying Maine gift items but we also carry New England gift items or USA MADE gifts. We are a unique specialty shop that carries one of a kind gifts so if you see it and want it you might want to take it with you as we don't carry the same products from year to year.
We have some new children's books, Maine postcards, Maine balsam sachets, wooden engraved earrings, our cuddly maxie Moose and new gift lines for 2013. We also have some sale items available for quick sale right now.
Spring Break welcomes school & group tours all year long by appointment. Our sugarhouse & gift shop is handicap accessible, can accommodate bus tours and is equipped with a restroom.
