2010 has added some new surprises to Spring Break. We have increased our presence in the wholesale market with pure maple candy going throughout the state of Maine. We are now making maple candy daily from our kitchen. If you are looking to add them to your shelves, baskets or would like to have them for a special function, please contact us for our current wholesale price list. We are now maple sugaring equipment dealers for Leader Evaporator Company. We have some used equipment for sale and will be stocking new equipment this summer.
Smith's Maple Products now a division of Spring Break has over 30 years experience in making pure maple candies. We currently have 4 size gift boxes, single lobster and have added a redesigned 8 ounce State of Maine box with a MOOSE for our non-coastal customers! We will continue to make our candies in small batches to give our customers the freshest product with a long stable shelf life. We thank our current customers and welcome new businesses to try our MAINE made maple candies.
Maple candy comes boxed in 5 different styles and 4 sizes and individual lobsters are new to Spring Break's product line. These candies are available retail and wholesale.
Our honey has been restocked in 16 oz & 3 lb plus 5 lb in Raw. Make sure you get yours before we run out. New honey won't be available until October 2010. Our bees are working hard for us and for you as they are gathering nectars from the raspberries, high bush cranberries, chokecherry and other wild flowers.
Hard & soft covered children's books have arrived. They are educational books that teach children alphabet and educational facts about MAINE, animals, weather, camping and recycling also a Maine activity book has arrived.
Spring Break Gift Shop is not your typical gift shop. We specialize in MAINE made and USA made gifts. Aroostook County is filled with people who have extreme talent, come see what the local artisans have been up to during the cold months of winter. We have hand painted signs, quilted items, handmade pocketbooks and tote bags with lots of storage, 3 styles of Maine candles, wood carvings, soy lotions, goats milk soap & lotions, hand painted old sap buckets, doll cradles, peg shelves, piggy banks, custom made birdhouses from reclaimed wood, a new line of MAINE made chocolates and much more.
Gift shop HOURS: Wednesday - Friday 10 am - 4 pm, Saturday 9 am - 1 pm. Wholesale customers call and leave your orders anytime.
Spring Break welcomes group tours all year long by appointment. Our sugarhouse & gift shop is handicap accessible, can accommodate bus tours and is equipped with a restroom.
