2010 was a great maple season at Spring Break with lots of maple syrup being made and lots of lighter syrup this year. Mother nature was really good for the northern part of the State with near perfect temperatures for days on end. Other parts of Maine can not say the same thus making Maine's overall production down.
We offered ADOPT-a-MAPLE program again and you can see in the photos it was a great success again. Trees were adopted, buckets were hung by the participants, and Spring Break boiled the sap into maple syrup for them.
Our educational trail is open and is self guided. Like to enjoy the outdoors then take a walk through our woodlot and see and learn about natual happenings in the woods.
