Our photo file contains photos of our 2013 sugaring season plus our recent awards from the North American Maple Syrup Council annual meeting. Our gift shop in not your typical shop, most of our products are made in Maine and USA and are one of a kind. If you see it when you are in, you like it, you'd better buy it as it may never be available again.
2014 is an exciting year for Spring Break, with the addition of a new processing facility and retail shop. This facility will streamline our production of maple candy, maple cream and maple sugar. The retail area will be a little larger and will have a viewing window for our customers to watch the process.
We offer ADOPT-a-MAPLE program where customers can tap their own tree. Participants get a tap, bucket & cover and a hand drill. They pick out their tree, tap it and return to empty their bucket (if they want) or have us do it and then Spring Break boils the sap into maple syrup for them. It doesn't get any easier than that. There is a small fee and appointment required but in the end.....the participant gets a quart of maple syrup.
2014 is looking to be a great year for maple syrup with cold temperatures and lots of snow. Our sugarhouse will be open to the public March 22 & 23 to celebrate Maine Maple Sunday. Make sure you mark you calendar and join us for a fun filled 2 days. You will get to tour our new facility too.
